In June 3007, Mannikam Singh and his Company was involved in resisting the Lyran Commonwealth attack on the world of Rochelle. There a heated conversation with mercenary Frank Mulburry concerning orders led to a duel between Mulburry and Singh's commander, Captain Luc Brandhauber. Mulburry's skill at the controls of his Charger allowed the mercenary to gain the upper hand over Brandhauber when fellow members of Mulburry's unit, McFinney's Manglers, arrived on scene to completely rout Brandhauber and Singh's Lance.[2]
