Jefferson Linkly was a Combat vehicle commander, who served in the Federated Commonwealth's Third Royal Guards, as of 3057.[1]

History[edit]

Linkly was a member of the Fire Lance, Second Company, Second Battalion of the Third Royal Guards as of 3057. In this role Linkly participated in the battle for Northwind following the Northwind Highlanders declaring independence from the Federated Commonwealth. Forming part of the forces seeking to retain Federated Commonwealth control over Northwind, on 20 October Linkly was part of the attempted defense of the Guards' command post in Northwind's Peace Park, when it was assaulted by MacLeod's Regiment. The Highlanders assault was intended to foil a plot by the Guards to lure the soon to land on world Stirling's Fusiliers into an ambush using stolen Highlander codes, and the Guards were unable to prevent them from both warning the Fusiliers about the situation, and forcing the Guards to retreat.[1]

Vehicle[edit]

Linkly was known to have commanded a Alacorn Mk VI heavy tank.[1]
