Fred Laurencin was the commanding officer of Mobile Fire in 3050.[1]

Colonel Laurencin commanded Mobile Fire under contract with the Federated Commonwealth in 3050. At this time, Laurencin had battalions stationed on Khon Kaen, Maduin, and Son Hoa.[1]
Following the FedCom Civil War, those elements of Mobile Fire loyal to Donald Moore removed Laurencin from command of the unit and broke contract with the Lyran Alliance in order to sign on with the Word of Blake.[2]
